Hang on over flow Help Maggie Muffler or Stand Pipe

I have a 180 gallon tank and it has 1 hang on over flow box with 2 - 1" drains in it and it is very noise.
So what would be better to make it QUITE! Maggie Muffler Mini or stand pipe that I found on Premium Aquatics?

Info on my over flow box. I have two J-tubes going into a 3.25"x 5" section of my overflow box that is in the middle of the overflow and then on each side of that they drain into 3.25"x 3.25" part of the overflow. In each section of the 3.25" x 3.25" there is a 1" drain that goes into my sump.

I’m not familiar with your overflow, but when we had an external box that also had a noise problem, I made a durso style standpipe that friction fit into the down pipe. Not sure if this would fit in yours, but it quieted the overflow in our case.
