Dolphin in Keansburg Creek, Police Confirm

Its currently still there. My nine year old is there taking pics. I'm stuck at work...

I'm certainly no expert, but think the temperature of the water and the fact it's in a creek......you might wish to call Marine Mammal Rescue and see what they say.

Dead dolphin is found on beach at Conference House Park

Not sure if there is more than one around the area but I saw this on the Staten Island Advance website today (published yesterday)...what a shame.

according to the article there its a dead bottle nosed dolphin, what was in keansburg was a harbor porpoise. big difference, still sad either way.
our area has a good amount of dolphin and porpoise pods, as well as harbor seals.
