has anyone drilled a hole for a reflo dart/snapper pump?

I did it. Twice. If you check my "jimroth" build thread you can see pictures.
Because of the size of the hole, it takes a long time, even with a new bit. If you can, drill from the inside of the tank to the outside so that any chips are on the outside where they won't interfere with the bulkhead gasket sealing. If you are going to hard-plumb, get the pump all mounted and plumbed and in position so you can mark exactly where the hole needs to go.
