Hawkeye's AGA 120

They are really bright - but the only other "moon"light I have is from my tunze multicontroller. Alright I'll turn the lights off as my fish do seem a little unadjusted to the brighter light. It's too bad I can't shut down one of the two leds in progression. That's one feature I liked on the solaris.

Old pics - I forgot to post.

200 snails from reefcleaners.org. I wanted more from the GB but ended up just thinking my order was enough.

here they are in the tank - all lived. Oh I also had a porcelain crab - which is laughably small in the 120. Where's waldo!

Here's my old light - still works great but the colors were not cutting for me. I may put it back on if my clowns do not start laying eggs again.

I'm also getting a used DSLR. This is by far the best way to go bang for buck. I should get it on saturday. Then finally I may be able to compete in the POTMs...do you hear that malulu/hurtback!? :)

This is the one coral (thanks aqob) that I got from Napoli's old tank that did fantastic under LEDS and seems to be fine under T5s:

This was like 4 little tiny green "dots" polyps on a disk that was broken off from the main branch by accident. I left it thinking nothing of it - but it's been encrusting and now appears to want to go up.
Pic a month ago after it encrusted the disc:

coral is from aqob - which got it from mike napoli (where r u now???). I believe it is a type of tri-color validia- but I do not think it is a "bonsai". Or are those terms interchangeable?

The growth pattern matches the time frame from when I purchased the new T5 lights. Hopefully I can find some more before/after pics.

So I'm running T5 lighting and i'm not too impressed with the combo i have.

Giessman Actinic
ATI Purple Plus
ATI Aquasun
ATI Blue Plus
ATi Aquasun
ATI blue Plus

Also I stupidly increased the length of time the lights are on and it burned a few of my corals...sigh. The Red table/idaho grape/undata don't seem to care but I lost a millie and started a white out on a tri-color valida that I had for the longest time (a frag from mike napoli's old 120 tank).

I lost some pics on this thread so I figured i'd post them again here:
idaho grape (thanks to herb for the frag, i wish i kept the pics when i first got it)

I still have to figure out the white balance on my dslr. Just haven't had the time.

Looking good Phil. I see you have a clam, good luck with it.

P.S - you need a better camera ;)

My anemone moved and has been killing my frags....(sad).

Well at least the anemone is happy. My rainbow monti, pink lemonade frag and ora birds nest not so much. the mini-colony that is dead above that was a validia died for some other reason...oh well.

Some pics of the new things in the tank:

from jason fox, palmers blue millie...love it!:

from Jason fox, a pearlberry. Not sure if it's going to make it as I can't see any PE.

This wonderful piece is thanks to darren - red table planet that has encrusted and going to war with the undata (also from darren!)

My hammer coral is growing out of control...it was so big it broke off the frag disk...lol. I have to mount it on LR or frag the heck out of it.

I love this guy...but i need to add a cover to my tank. It's been almost 2 years now with no problems but i'm playing roulette.

Check it out - the last clownfish I bred from an egg. All the others are hopefully living on in someone else's tank. I think jrwohler for sure has one that is still alive.

Love my kole tang.

I feel I can finally publish this since it's been almost 2 months - but my latest fish addition courtesy of Aquatic Obsessions and my bday purchase:

Enjoying some seaweed.

miscellaneous stuff -
i got a new tunze 6105 but carelessly dropped the connector into the tank...and I fried the circuit board. Now i have to send it back to get it fixed. Stupid stupid me. It runs full power - but I would really rather not have 3000 GPH running full blast 24x7.
013.jpg

Also I never noticed but the new tunzes use a different power supply - i have no idea why but it has a 'red' light to indicate in use. Normally one assumes "red" is bad - but I was told this is normal. Strange German design.

Hey, your clowns brother/sister is doing great in my tank, survived 2 weeks of black outs this year. I just put in a GBTA so hopefully it will find a nice home soon.

sweet! i completely forgot about that. for some reason I thought I gave you cheato...lotta people asking for that lately.

Good to know another captive bred brother/sister/cousin is alive! hahaha.

The clowns are at it again, but this time my anemone moved (killing all frags) and the glorious little orange eggs are visible. Video below:

eggs are visible at the 16 second mark.

Taken with a canon photoshot.

edit - having problems posting the link.

Awesome Phil, any plans on raising them or just going to let nature take its course?
