Hawkfish Love to eat shrimp!

My hawkfish had a $60 dinner sometime this past week....(sigh).

They were a pair of large blood shrimp. I have no idea how he swallowed them but there is no evidence/remains left and he is undoubtedly the culprit. I knew the risk when I bought the fish, who is absolutely delightful to watch, but I thought that since the shrimp were present already/established - they would be ok...but i obviously was wrong.


So the hawkfish has outwitted/outsmarted Hawkeye....BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH LOL.

That sucks. Those shrimp aren't cheap either. I recently seen tiny ones for $40.

Got it from Aq Ob....he is a delight to have...but i do miss the two shrimp...

Flame Hawkfish. Already learned to eat pellets. Very fun to have.

Last year, I had a Blue Spotted Goby that I caught red handed...err.....finned eating my cleaner shrimp.
