Hawkfish

So I really like hawkfish..especially the flame. ive heard they can eat shrimp but ive also heard that they wont eat larger ones like cleaners which is what I have. Would I be okay to have one? Are they reef safe? Anyone on here have one? My tank is a 40 gallon, all SPS. Fish include: Tomato clown, starry blenny, Yellow tang(i know i know..hes a baby though) and a royal gramma. id like to round it out with a flame and I also have a bluestripe pipefish in a smaller tank that will be moved in here shortly. Then finally a full grown cleaner shrimp.

I have never kept a flame hawkfish, but I did have a long nose. My long nose was reef safe for about a year, after which he got big enough to start taking pot shots at my cleaner shrimp and my fire shrimp. I can't speak to the pipefish, but I would be cautious with the hawk and your shrimp; mine had an uncanny sense for when the shrimp were molting.
