HELP! Is my nem about to split or kick the bucket

Hello today I woke up and noticed my BTA looking pretty crappy. Three days ago he decided to move towards the back of the tank from his happy spot he's been in for months. He was really deflated today and decided to attach himself onto a rock and stretched to the glass trapping in a margarita snail under his foot. I gently took him off and put him in a holding container closer to the water flow ( attached to the bottom within ten minutes) because my clowns are like molesting him or something. He is all pinched up in the middle all around and his mouth is open a bit and has a bump of it sticking out on the one side. Also I noticed a very tiny hole on his foot directly under the mouth. Does it sound like a split I never had a nem split on me before.

Thanks Miniblaz3

It's hard to say but perhaps you should leave him be for now and see how it plays out. The fact is that there's not much you can actively do in any event.

My RTBA recently split. Looked horrible during and after for several days. I would let it be unless someone has some way of 'treating' a sick anemone.

Mine has split a number if times. It always looks like death first and it will walk to a safer spot and do it.

Mine always stays in the same place but then the clone(or half) always gets happy feet and moves so be ready.

Same with mine. Mine has split twice so far and my original didn't move until after the 2nd split. After that it moved, but for the first two it stayed put. The babies always went wandering looking for it's own spot though.

Unfortunately, mine always split when I wasn't around and I didn't notice any changes with it before or after (other than it being smaller after).

I hope he's not sick, still didn't split but looks better then yesterday. He is firmly attached to the bottom of the isolation container, footprint is 3 or more inches around. He's a pretty nice size. I only have him in isolation because my clowns are a VERY protective of him and never stray far unless my had goes in the tank, then it's game over for me. The one clown leaves actual bite marks on my arm they do take a few days to go away. I have RBTA that looks awesome. (Clowns moved in already) Both my nems live in pretty close vicinity to one another. I also feed them a diet of raw shrimp along with de-boned pieces of sliver side 2 days a week. Hope he's not sick. Hers a pic of my RBTA
