Help me ID this worm

I found this in my filter sock. It has many small white legs. When extended its about 1/2" long. Friend or Foe?worm.jpg

They sell traps if you really want them out. If not just get a flash light out after the tank lights have been off and you can see them. They can get very large and those are the ones you want out. So get some long tweezers and grab them then scream like a girl as you run to the trash can or toilet.
 
I leave em and only pull out the really big ones. Like the ones from the movie Tremors with Kevin Bacon.
 
I like them. I will freely add them when I can. Though I never really see them unless its in the mouth of one of my wrasses or my watchman.
 
I chuck them everytime i change the filter sock. If they are showing up in the sock means you got to many lol. IMO.
AW... dont say that... Say it aint so. I am surprised I have not seen them in the past. I check my tank just about every night with a flash light. They ugly for sureimages.jpg
 
My old tank had a bunch, this tank has them in the sump, bit I think my various fish plus pistol shrimp keep them in check in the main tank. I added them to my system on purpose. If they can breed, they're consuming something that you don't want, IMO.
