Help to identify

We recently found two of the following animals in our tank. I personally think they are rock anemones. They are very small, between the size of a dime and a nickel when fully expanded. And disappear at night. Has anyone seen anything similar

it looks like a type of carpet anemone most are harmless and some even taken on cool colorations. it could be if not an anemone a type of shroom some softies have a similar appearance.

It doesn't look like this does it?

What can I say. I don’t think it looks anything like the pic you attached. Except for superficial similarities. It really looks exactly like the pic I posted. Almost like a cross between a shroom and a nem I am leaning towards a carpet nem more specifically a mini-max carpet. But I’m just not sure

Well that is good news. The attached photo is a manjano Manjano Anemones | Melev's Reef

It’s pink and purple, frilly with tipped balls on the end of its tentacles. was a little concerned it might be a ball anemone but close comparisons has pretty much eliminated that.
