Hi I am new (live in hawthorne)

Hi,

My name is Rich and I live in Hawthorne. I just started a 14 gal Biocube. Do you have any suggestions? I have Xenia, Suncoral (Feeding daily) some Kenya and a few Polyps. Anyway just thought I'd introduce myself. Just started on this site. Can you tell me how to compress photos? All my photos are 900 kb and the forum only allows 175 kb.

Hi Rich welcome to the site. How you compress photos will be specific to the photo editing software you use. Sometimes this is as easy as opening your picture and saving it in a different format.

For example, bmp files are not compressed and jpg are. So if your picture is in bmp format, consider changing it to jpg to reduce the size.

Most photo editing software will offer you additional options.

If you go into the Nano group down a bit lower you will find lots of threads that deal specifically with nano tanks (40g and under). You can always ask questions of those people who have very similiar tanks.
