Hi my name is chuck Russell I'm the "webguy" for the Long Island Reef Association. (http://www.LongIslandReef.org )
I hope you don't mind me barging in and posting this in this forum. but your "contacts" link doesn't work correctly on top of your site. At least when using firefox as a browser. (which by the way is very impressive Nice style & Great forum options..:thumbsup ).
Anyway I created a page on our site with links to upcoming events other reef clubs in the tri-state area have open to non-members. I was wondering if you have any objections of us containing links to your events?
can you please forward this to your BOD for approval?

Thanks Phyl, much appreciated letting us link to your site and events, At the moment we don't have anything of real interest going on.
Today we had a "collection" trip where we seine the bay area here and collect tropicals that get caught up in the gulf stream and trapped in the bay. we caught over 2 dz butterflys , some seahorses, blue spotted cornet's,yellow tail damsels and a bunch more.

then in march we have a (fund Raiser) which is a two day event held at the Atlantis Marine World (http://www.atlantismarineWorld.com)call NERAC (North East Reef Association Conference) we have about 8 speakers a Giant auction and diner inside Atlantis Marine World. (it pays to have our president also the curator of the aquarium )
