how to eliminate zoas from the rock?

kind of goofy question, but is there a safe way of "eliminating" zoa from a rock inside of the tank? I may not be able to take out the rock outside of the tank and would like to get rid off the little colony. any ideas what can work without doing too much damage to other corals in the tank?

Take a small screwdriver and dig under the colony into the lr. You actually break the rock and the colony stays intact. I've use this method to remove anemones.
