How's everyone making out (roll call)

Now that i have no tank, its peaceful in cherry hill lol. Some gusts of wind but nothing. Hasnt rained for a while now either. Just a nice fall day since like 6 lol

So question all of you is. How long can the tank go without anything. I am one of the unfortunate one who has no generator or battery pump. All I have is 15 gal of fresh saltwater which I can heat if I need to.

I'm on shore. Our seawall is about 25 feet, water started to go over it, so we sat in the car and drove up to higher ground.
Hopefully in couple hours tide will go down and wind direction will change, so we could go back.
We still had power, so tank is running.

Wrap the tank in blankets if your temp starts slipping. Siphon a few gallons of water out of your tank, letting it splash into your bucket for aeration, then dump it back into the tank.

If you can find a walmart with power check in the fishing isle, thats where i found the ones i got 9:30 lastnight
if not then use a turkey baster or the old fashioned hand crank egg beater to agitate the tank surface.

I am in the same boat I have been stirring my water every half hour to get some movement in the tank and I've been using my feeding tube to make air bubbles in the tank

just lost power i have an extention cord connected to the mini van. because my two echo tech batteries died. got them last year for that storm. they said they shipped me new ones on friday. there customer service sucks. need a better option.

I have now switched to DEFCON 1

Rolling blackouts in my area. Newark dosen't have power and lights are flickering. I'm expecting power to go out any minute. tanks running in low power mode. Reactors are off.

Well I'm gonna give it a good stir before I hit the sack for the night. My wife has to wake up early for work so ill get up with her and do a WC. In the morning.

Power out since three. Big trees down, transformers blowing and lighting up the sky. Internet and phone are sketchy. Air bubblers running on batteries now. We broke everything down onto three tanks to keep it simple. If the power is out tomorrow, we will be running the vortech battery. Very very windy here

I've been lucky so far still have power. But in the past 1hr winds have increased and lights have flickered more often. Hopefully will make it thru without using the generator.

Three huge spruce trees lifting up taking a huge swath of yard with them. Seems to be going away from the house but my bee hives there never stood a chance. At least the house is safe.
