How's everyone making out (roll call)

I thought I made a post here. We got power back last night around 3am.

If anyone is in the toms river area that needs help please let me know. I have a small 500w power inverter that you could run off your car, and if you have a small tank that is movable, or want to drop off some corals feel free to contact me. I'll do my best to make sure they are safe for you. Please keep in mind I have a pretty fully stocked 29g and a 10g with nothing but some rock, and a goby and pistol that grows out my macro algaes. I'm happy to do whatever I can for anyone who needs though.

found a 6000w generator and im rockin....tank is up to 70 and still rising. Zoas are opening....hopefully my leather puls through.

We checked everything, my brother in law who is an electrical engineer came over and determined that there is absolutely no power being generated by it at all. I showed him everything that I was running and he said that I wasnt even close to over powering the generator and if I did it would have thrown the breaker. Fortunately, I have a very good friend that lives right outside of AC and while he is not a member here he does have a reef tank. Jose knows who I am talking about. He got power back and said I could borrow his generator so I ran down to AC and came back in 2 hrs. The fish are all accounted for but some of the corals are not looking so good right now.

DuroStar. Got it on amazon. I have left them several messages and sent numerous email today. Their customer service reps say they can sell me a new one but cant help me with the one I have and I have to wait for someone from their product support group to call me back.

Still no power. We have gas stove and water so that's good..and I'm running the tank off my neighbors generator. He's getting a nice gift card when this is over with.

Still no power. Running of generator and boy is it hard to find gas. Thanks a bunch to John (jgraz) for letting me borrow an extra gas can.

Still no power in East Hanover!! The generator has been running since about 6pm-7pm on Monday. Gas is starting to get scarce, but I have about 10 gallons left and my genny will run about 9 hours on 50% draw off of 4 gallons. I hope I can find gas soon!! I'm asking for gas cans for Christmas!!

Ditto, in the same boat at Supratt ... we're starting to radiation our own gas now, just turned genny off - tanks are on battery bubbles till the morning.

BTW, gas is definitely getting tough to find ... they're saying PA may be the best bet (if you're in NNJ) ...

Went to AbFish today ... 2 big gennies, they're sleeping in the store!
