With the excitement, fun and great success of our last event, "A Call to Farms", we are eager to have another one. We have four inspiring speakers, lunch, raffles, an auction and vendors. For sure, we love these guys! Here is some bio's, a few asked us to post them.

Adam Blundell M.S. is a hobbyist, lecturer, author, teacher, and research biologist. Adam works for the University of Utah in Pathology and in Marine Biology. Adam is also the director of the Aquatic & Terrestrial Research Team, a group which bridges the gap between hobbyists and scientists. Adam can be reached by email at adamblundell@hotmail.com.

Adam Cesnales - I was born raised and have lived most of my life around Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I have been keeping marine aquariums off and on for over 20 years and reefs for about 10. I currently the treasurer of the Pittsburgh Marine Aquarium Society, but have held one office or another for about 9 years. As president in 2007, I had the privilege of being the co-chair for MACNA XIX. As a WetWebMedia crew member, I go my first real opportunity to help others and gained the confidence to begin speaking to aquarium clubs, and got to be Co-Editor (with Scott Fellman) of Conscientious Aquarist online magazine.

I am pretty much incapable of sitting still, so when my hands aren't in my 120 gallon mixed reef tank, I am probably working on a home improvement project, hunting wild mushrooms or researching my latest mini-hobby on the internet. Chainsaws and Kayaks are two recent favorites, by the way!

Scott Fellman - My name is Scott Fellman, and I’m the consummate reef geek! I bleed saltwater! Much of my life centers around tweaking my protein skimmer, scraping algae, cleaning spills, or figuring out how to unglue my fingers. I’ve been keeping saltwater aquariums since I was 12 years old. I love this hobby and the people in it!

I’ve mentored fellow hobbyists since 2002 on Bob Fenner’s WetWebMedia.com site, and I was Co-Editor of WWM’s Conscientious Aquarist online magazine. I’ve written several articles for Freshwater and Marine Aquarium Magazine, “C” Journal, and other online venues.

In addition to speaking at clubs throughout the country, I am past President of my local club, the Marine Aquarium Society of Los Angeles County, spoke at MACNA XIX in Pittsburgh, IMAC 2008 in Chicago, and at MACNA XX in Atlanta. I have spoken at many clubs throughout the nation. I’m really trying to complete a book on marine biotope aquaria and aquascaping before this century is over!

When I’m not trying to replicate the ocean in my aquarium, I’m usually surfing at my local beach-my other obsession. I reside in the Los Angeles area.

AWESOME! Thanks for posting that Linda!

We really had a great time on Saturday. You have a really good group up there. There was such a positive, upbeat energy about the place. And you really pulled off the Reefstock theme. Ross was killer as the MC. Was it me or did he kind of sound like Mitch Hedberg!
