Hydra TwentySix LED Light

Hey guys was wondering if I could get some opinions on the hydra 26 if it is as good as every one makes it out to be. I am currently running some pretty cheap lights that are doing surprisingly well, able to keep easy SPS and LPS with out to much of a problem. But I am currently getting ready to upgrade my tank to a 40b and I don't think that my current lights will be doing as well. So wanted to get your input before decide to pick this light up.

I have them on my my tank. They're very good lights. The hd version is better and the new 32s are even better. You'll need 2 over a 40g

Ran Maxspects, Kessils, and AI Hydras. Hydras are my favorite, so much so that when I upgraded lights I sent my 26s in for an upgrade to the HD versions.
I have 3 HDs over a 110g (4' wide, 2' deep) and have to dial them back a bit. SPS grows without a concern. As MT said, you'll need 2 over a 40.
The phone based app is excellent and gives you considerable control over schedules, manual or auto programs, acclimation, etc...
Check forums, Craigslist, and Facebook marketplace over the next 2 weeks. It's just after Black Friday and folks who upgraded to the 32s will be receiving and hooking up their newly bought lights soon, you might be able to find some deals.
