So the other day I bought a container of Pro DKH ALK buffer the kind you mix with water before adding something I usually dose when I dose calcium but ran out of a few weeks back. After doing a water change I dosed my normal coral growth nutrients and glanced at the instructions on the new buffer mix and dosed what I though was right. Then I reliesed I didnt use a tsp I used a the equivalent of 2 tsp and I hadn't done a water test prior to do the math off of. Nervous thinking I just wrecked my tank all I could do is hope for the best.. well 1 day past and the tank looks amazing all the coral are open and looking healthy the tank is vibrant and full of life and all the inhabitants are healthy .. I thought I destroyed it by being careless but it worked out in the long run
