Well, I sort of figured that! lol

I just meant that it must have been difficult trying to orientate yourself to climb out that way

being off camber in a jeep is a different feeling. I've been known to lean the other way when mine is in such a situation while rock climbing. it almost feels like freefall lol almost.

During the roll (I did mention it was a very slow roll) I thought I noticed a puff of smoke from the center console around by where the passengers left knee would be. At least it looked like smoke, could of been dust. Once I realized the truck wasn't going to roll anymore, I momentarily strained to see if I could actually find something burning. I think thats when I screwed up my rib on the seat belt. Suddenly I realized....."Its time to get out" so I reached to put down the drivers window. The window only went about half way down because the bottom half of the door was caved in from the impact. I figured I was going to have to break the window so, still hanging in the seat belt, I looked to the right to see if there was anything handy to break the glass. At that moment, a witness came running up to help. He asked if I could open the door and I though..."D'oh"...should have tried the door. Although a little difficult, I was able to open the door and the witness was able to hold it while I un-fastened my belt and climbed out of the car. As I sat on the bottom of the door frame of my vehicle, I was able to see the other driver and thankfully saw he was wearing his seat belt. I also noticed his air bag hadn't gone off. From my vantage point, he didn't appear to have any contusions and it didn't appear he made contact with the wind shield. Unfortunately, it was obvious he was still suffering from his seizure.A couple other witness had made there way to him and confirmed he was breathing ok. I then jumped off the truck from the roof side. A couple of the witness approached me to see if I was alright which I told them I was. The first witness hung with me until the emergency people came. The EMT's worked with the guy for a bit while he came out of the seizure. I saw one of the EMT's with an Epie pen and another with a EKG strip. Eventually, they had him in a neck brace strapped to a back board. He was awake as they wheeled him by, but obviously distraut. One of the EMT guys said that once he recovered from the seizure, it looked like the other drive would be OK. Then it was time for the tow trucks to take over. They took the Acura first, the righted the Jeep. Once I got my keys, cell phone, and the trucks paperwork, one of the police officers took me home.

I felt thankful and lucky, could have been much worse.

Wow, good story telling...it had me riveted to the screen!

Glad to hear everyone was ok. How's the new truck?
