Some one in our club actually owns a very nice log cabin. Hes hasnt been around in a long time but its pretty much the same minus the water and boats. It was hand built by him and its awsome.

When the wife and I were interviewing log home companies for our project we went to Northern Maine to interview this company called Kuhn's Brothers Log Homes. Well the owner of the company took us to one of the homes he built for a client. The dudes driveway was 9 MILES LONG!!!!! my wife and I looked at each other wondering were this guy was taking us and if he was some kind of a serial killer. Long story short when we got to the end of the driveway there was a beautiful chalet style log home that looked out over Moosehead lake and not another home anywhere to be seen. Talk about Nirvana! The only downside was the owner literally owned his own bulldozer to plow his driveway.
