I keep getting in trouble for bringing back the mermaid costume with saltwater on it. Don't the people at the costume store understand that mermaids belong in the sea???

Also Paul, while a burqa would help to shield me from prying eyes, just like a hijab would, it is impractical for aquascaping a large tank. All that fabric, sopping wet, gets heavy fast. Sorry.

Thanks for all the offers for help. Still thinking of getting rid of the tank. Its nice it see so many offers for help. If I do keep it, I think its best to wait for the weather to break so March maybe the best time.

I think we should be able to keep our clothes on this time. With the way my fish room is set up I can reach the bottom of the glass inside the tank while standing on the stand from behind the tank.

Been working on this tank daily since I went to Nerac. Joe Y's tanks inspired me. I took all the rocks out. I've been slowly siphoning the sand out. Major job with 150 pounds of sand. Ordered 50 feet of flex PVC a new pump and have a plan for how to redo all the plumbing. Ethon from AO is coming to help with that on Tuesday. Hopefully it will be back on track soon.
