To be honest. I don’t know. If I was a store and you wanted to return an infested anything I think I would hesitant. But who knows. Call them. Of course there is a third option. Keep the rock and put it aside. Get new dry rock. And use that. While your in that down time waiting forever for the tank to cycle. Treat the rock as suggested by Diana and put it away. There will be a day when you will want to upgrade your tank. Most people, including this guy. dreams of a mega system (of course that means different things to different people) and you will have a few nice pieces stored away that can be cycled before you even have water in the tank.

Who vouches for BRS rock? I am not using a LFS as I don't trust them lol....

Or does anyone know a better website.

Only if you never use it........ wait. Three pieces of rock cost $150.00 bucks, how much was it per pound... was he wearing a mask and pointing a gun. It’s very nice looking. But covered in aptaisia sorry buddy. But you should talk to them. That’s not right. Even if they won’t take it back. Maybe they can offer store credit.

I used BRS rock. It weighed exactly what it said it would. Don’t get me wrong. It’s nothing like the rock Hallowhead was using. But I like it. I will send pic

You can get a pair of bone cutters or something and chip away a chunk of that rock....little extreme but your tank is new so you should be ok
