George, funny you mention that….they actually don’t need to be sterilized….or cooked as you say. However, consumers think you need to do this, or their wounds will become infected. What they don’t realize is that the bacteria that causes infection is coming from their festering skin that is covered with ever known pathogen to man. The adhesive bandages are “clean” before they get sterilized, so they actually don’t need sterilization. It’s a perception thing, and if that is what sells product, that’s what we do.
