Is it only me

Please don’t tell me that I’m not alone in not caring about the,, Super Bowl,, sorry but I just don’t care about over paid grown men playing a game at 30-45 seconds per play with 2 minutes break in between,,
So please let me know if you also feel this way
Or do I need to hand in my ,, MAN CARD,, lol

It’s on but I’m not paying attention to it, my wife is in a pool at her job so she’s going back and forth from Golden Girls and the game,, uggh my life ,, what happppppend,, lol jk wouldn’t change any of it,, but I’d do my wrestling career in a heartbeat, but not so much the pain killers part I learned a Huge lesson and I’m not as dumb as you might think,, lol

Lol couldn’t care less about it. Except I’ve got a Brady rookie that goes up every time he wins so I’m hoping tomorrow when I turn on the news to hear that lol. Otherwise not even going to listen

They brought Rob G out of retirement to play with Brady. If Tampa wins I assume both will finally retire. No I am not watching it, haven't for the past 4/5 years.

Great game. Not much of a football follower, but watching athletes at the top of their game is always impressive. I’m impressed with the bucks performance, they have a great team atm.

I love the super bowl. I love having people over to watch the game. This year because of covid we had to pass. I love the food. Spending time with family and friends has always made super bowl Sunday less about football and more about everything else.
My wife likes the commercials and
Halftime show. I have always ran the football pool at work so it was always a happy time for someone.

I've learned...Most people have a passion. Don't knock others. It's just not for you. I figured this out long ago when I was at Penn State and had an oddball group of friends. Some followed Formula 1, some followed the European Football(soccer) Leagues, other followed NASCAR, and some fathered Concerts to all of the sports. While the big event/Championships were hugely important to them, we all shrugged it off. So when I get excited about this thing in June called REEFAPALOOZA, I dont necessarily expect others to be equally excited.
The main reason the SuperBowl gets thrusted in our faces is the money. Money of TV Spots and advertising,.Money for the Networks, and Money for the fans/viewers in the form of betting in casinos, between friends, office pools, etc.
Only bet I won yesterday was the coin toss. I had Tampa Bay winning, but only if they won by less than 14 points. I didn't expect the blowout.

I also like baseball. Soon enough...

I missed it. wouldn't have even know it was on yesterday except Paulie mentioned it to me. I will watch it and enjoy it if someone invites me over to watch at a party or something (free beers hell yeah who doesn't enjoy that) but I'm not following normally. we don't even have regular TV here anyway. cord cutter for almost 20 years now. I've got a projector connected to Roku stick. screen is the entire wall - ceiling to floor and we've got Disney, Hulu and Netflix.
