My parameters are always pretty much the same from month to month and are well within specs. My phosphates tend to get high at times. I've taken every measure in order to squash them...aint workin. The only thing I can think of is my skimmer. I skim wet and empty my cup every few days as it is really gross. The only thing I can think of is that my skimmer may not be sufficient. I also, keep a wad of poly filling in one of my baffles as a physical filtration and I replace it twice a week. Its a RO needle wheel 110. I have a 90g display and a 30g sump. I have a several small fish, not many. 2 clowns, 2 square anthias, goby & pistol, flame angel, damsel, and a banghaii card....8 small fish in a 90g. I am not sure if bumping up my skimmer to something larger if that would help. I've read in several other posts that by increasing their skimmer and or sump, it relieved their phosphates. Any ideas?
