Is this Bleach Safe for Cleaning Filter Socks

Isn't all bleach germicidal? I never understood the term germicidal. Is it just another gimmick to sell bleach at a higher price or is it just a higher concentration.
When I was growing up my buddy's dad worked for keaney chemical and he drove a truck. He used to bring home 20% bleach that stuff was powerful. I think reg Clorox is maybe 4%

Joe, that bleach is just fine. It's marketing. All bleach is germicidal. I looked at the ingredients and concentrations and it's just bleach!

Just rinse well and let air dry until no odor of bleach.

Seems the germicidal version has one less ingredient than the regular one. so I am going to use it. I guess only reefers check ingredients of bleach :)

Real "germicidal" is supposed to be 8.25% sodium hypochlorite . Most of the regular household you buy is 5.25% or below. It's just more concentrated. I'm always hunting for the 8.25 as I us it to chlorinate the little 12ft intex pool I put up for the kids in the summer. For cleaning filter socks eathier will do.
