Info from Jon:
Hello fellow reefers! I would like to introduce myself - my name is Jonathan (Jon) you may know me as JonJonMolina333. I am married 5 years to my beautiful wife Clara and we have a wonderful 3 year old daughter Abby. Throughout the years we both had experience with freshwater fish. I had a 10g freshwater with fake plants and she had a 5g goldfish tank. We got into this hobby 2 years ago because of a gift (in a sense). A friend was moving and his family was going to get rid of their tank, they offered it to us and we said “sure, why not!” not knowing what we were getting into. This tank was in a basement covered in red algae, we thought everything was dead. Well, when we broke it down, we come to find a fish still alive it was a yellow watchman goby (El Don) of the tank. Well, we started off with a FOWLR, after a couple of times asking tons of questions at a LFS we found out we had a basic setup for corals and started with GSP. After many upgrades, gifts, etc, and a move we are currently running a 75 gallon mixed reef aquarium. We lost many fish and corals and each of us had our sad moments learning the hardships of running a reef tank. But we still have El Don. My family and I have the privilege of inviting you to our home and see our little piece of the ocean.

Yea, the RSVP page isn't very full yet and the meeting is next weekend!

I might be coming but not sure if my son has a wrestling match that day yet. I probably won't know until middle of next week.

Just like Mike, I’ll be bringing a little “dish” with me too. However, my dish will be Walnut brownies.

I would imagine most of us will be coming via Route 1. Just watch for all the red-light cameras. There are a boat load of cameras along this stretch of the road, and they’re set to give you a ticket.

Jon, thank you to you and your wife for opening up your house to a bunch of strangers. I really enjoyed the small group....made it feel very homey. Tank looks great and can't complain about the raffle.....everyone was a winner.

Thank you John, it was a fun little group we had. We would have loved to stay longer but duty calls. It was great to see some people again and as always talk shop.
