Janurary Monthly Meeting

Just a re-cap

This meeting will be held at Jackson Elks #2744
1059 East Veterans Hwy
Jackson NJ 08527 12n to 6pm.

*you do not have to be a paid member to attend.
*admission for all (including BOD members) will be $10 per adult, no exceptions. Admission for children is free.
We will have 5 vendors/sponsors on site as well as raffle prizes at the end of the event.
*you will not be permitted to sell items during the event
*you do not have to be present for the raffle, but know that we will not ship out items as some are quite large.

I have a pink birdsnest @myrjon gave me. There’s a bunch of it fragged. All of the frags are slowly starting gain a shade of green flesh. Some way more than others, but it looks like they’re all going to end up green skinned eventually.

Please post here if you want one brought to the meeting, it’s on me and @myrjon !!

I see this is 6 hour long meeting. What happens at monthly meetings, I never been to one. And does a person needs to be a member to attend?

I saw in there that meetings are BYOB, is that acceptable or frowned upon? We will be there for several hours, a couple brews would be nice.

Normally its bring your own beer and many folks bring stuff. I am unaware how it will be at this meeting as this is our first meeting like this. @trio91 can you answer that?

Not at this meeting because it’s a rented site. Byob required hiring an elks member as bartender/babysitter and had liability concerns, so we declined.

Anyone have asterina starfish as a problem? Let me know if interested in a Harlequin Shrimp. I bought two and now that my asterina are thinning out I would like to pass one along. 3/4 inch size. $30 or trade for some frags... Does a GREAT job!
