i will never buy a jbj tank again. i had a 28 nc, sprung a leak. they sent me another one, which also sprung a leak. next one they sent me came shattered. the last one they sent me, i took to my buddy's farm, and shot it with his 12 gauge.

Yeah and my personal experience of having saltwater all over my floors. Granted it's only "one" con, it's a big one.

Sorry you had that bad experience. I have had my 12g nano for 5 yrs. never had any problems with it.
Going to get it anyhow from foster smith. At least I know they'll take care of issues like shipping damage or if it leaks out of the box..

Cursed...big box of broken glass came!
At least f and s is shipping a new one out immediately...and I get to see what I can salvage of the broken tank and stand...

New shipment arrived today in one piece. I'll fill it to test for leaks this weekend.
I may have a decent condition extra stand left over from the process. If I do it'll go up for grabs in the appropriate sub forum.

Steerike TWO! SOB is leaking. Corner seam cracked in shipment.....
Thinking about giving this hobby up...have a grand tied up in hardware for this build and no tank to hang it upon...

Have to wait to see if customer service refunds my money. Was at fish factory yesterday and saw some other tanks that will work for me... Well at least most of what I bought is universal. I think the only thing tank specic is the floss holder from intank.

30-45g. Like the enclosed systems better than hang on filtration. Original thought was 25-28g nano type, but don't like the lighting or lids in those designs.
Don't want much bigger dues to space restraints.

Decided on an IM 30. Off to pick up today!
F&s was very apologetic and refunding my $ as soon as the accessories are returned.
