Jenkenson's Aquarium update.

It looks like they are nearing completion of the renovation.

It looks like they are putting in a few tanks near the new entrance. I wanted to check out under the stand.

They had a few new things to see.

Had no clue there was a renovation lol. I think a club trip is a pretty cool idea actually. Would probably be fun

I reached out to the Adventure Aquarium in Camden about a possible behind the scenes tour, but I haven't heard back yet. The renovation is mostly cosmetic on the outside. But they did take down the entrance reef tank. Some of the corals and fish from it are upstairs, but you can only look down at them, which with turbulent surface water, not too easy to see into. I didn't see the cowfish. A worker there told me they were moving the touch tank downstairs where the mind reader store was. And I think she said one of the new tanks was supposed to have many yellow tangs in it. I don't think they know yet what they will do with the reef tank, so I chipped in and said you need to see some of it from the side. Most of the new tanks upstairs are fairly small. They do enough changes where I feel like there is something new each time I go, and I go a lot.

I was actually surprised at how much I enjoyed the Jenk's trip last year. Had no clue there was so much going on underneath the aquarium itself. To say I was impressed with the size of the industrial skimmers or the ato drawn directly from the ocean would be an understatement. Would love to hit up a trip post renovations to see what they've done.
