713You have the 713 or 736?
The 713 is not to accurate for feeding purposes. The 736 is much more sensitive and could help you out. You running gfo?
You got me curious now and yes I'm running GFO, started biopellets about 3 weeks ago and some times Phosphate Sponge for one day...thanks for letting me know about the Hanna Checker.Reefing not feeding.
Yes, running the GFO in a reactor. You running the gfo in a reactor? And the 736 will be on sale right now.
Every 3 to 4 weeks and feeding only once per day.How often you changing it? How much you feeding?
I'm feeding flakes, frozen and pellets but no in the same day and using 1 1/2 cups of gfo. What you feeding? How much gfo you running?
Oh, OK.what would help a lot is manually removing all that you can. The more you pull out the less the gfo has to deal with. And I use the hanna to tell me when my gfo is dead by measuring the output of the reactor
I stopped testing the phosphate a long time ago, best way to know it's high is the GHA.Forget about measuring PO4 I found it quite useless. BP is good but be patient and wait for it to kick in. I would get 3 emerald crabs that will take care of you algae problem.
Thanks Paul, you are doing a great job with your tank.Looking good Juan!
