Youre 2 best bets on stores are Tropaquarium in Ocean for salt and hardware (plus its right around the corner from Kane Brewery), and Aquarium Care Center (ACC) which is just across the street. Oh, and if you've never experienced a Wegmans, check it out while youre there.
