Just paid my membership... Saying Hello

Hello All....

I've just joined and I'm pleased to be a part of the NJ Reef community. I live in North Plainfield and luckily am just down the road from Ocean Gallery II and close to Red Sand as well.

I've maintained freshwater tanks up to 110 gallons since I was 10 so I'm not new to fish keeping per say, but this is my first go in saltwater. I suspect I'll need some help.

Right now I'm getting ready to plumb my 20L nano and hopefully add water, live rock and sand by next weekend. While the tank is cycling I'll be building my LED light.

P.S. Can I have my profile upgraded?

Thanks

Welcome to the club and good luck with the new nano. I'm sure you will find any help you need around here, so don't be shy asking any questions you might have.

Welcome to the club. Definitely ask questions if you're not sure. It's helped me plenty in the past.

If I'm lucky enough to host a meeting, there will be chili and baked ziti for any vegetarians. Of course I may need help moving my empty 110 up from the basement!

Awesome! Another local nano reefer! :D I'm not too far from you, I'm on the other side of Watchung/Warren in Stirling.

I have a 20L frag tank running a DIY Rapid LED build in a gutted old PC fixture. I'm not running a sump but I have a Subcurrent internal filter.

Interested in hearing your LED plans and I'd be willing to share my experience with them so far. First bits of advise on the LEDs, don't over do it and dimmable drivers are a MUST!

Hi! Welcome! I'm right down 22 in Bridgewater so I'm pretty close too. Unlike Brian I would be totally useless with the LEDs but once you get things going I would be happy to get you started with some nice frags.
