Two months ago my lights went so dropped a few $$$ for new ones.

Last night return pump making toms of noise and not pumping. Unplugged it and went to bed. This morning looked at it and the part that goes to the out take tube snapped off; no clue how that happened.

Good news is I picked up a n extra return pump from Joe, Horseplay, bad new can't find the damn thing. Bet my wife moved it......HAHAHHAHAHA

So dug deep and found my old Mag9 pump; cleaned it up and noticed the ceramic shaft is broke in half, WTH. Used a bit of crazy glue and shoved them into the impeller and squeezed tight.
This seems to be working but for how long.

Always something even when your hand off.

Oh yeah, in Oct last year my sump sprung a leak.

MWilmot has a 100GPH pump I will be picking up. Thanks

Reef keeping is proof positive that Murphy was 100% correct and may have even been overly optimistic.

The worst part is when something is going wrong, you have your hands full or you outside. Things happen in the worst time possible

I have to say even though the shaft is split and wedges in wedged in with crazy glue the pump is very quiet. The other one never was quiet so now I constantly check the tank.
