the gorilla comment didnt get me mad, the fact that you said "wife" did. ITS A GIRLFRIEND THANK YOU!

LOL Dont let her see this she might stop working on the tank ;)

Im definitely feeling the color scheme you guys have going... Keep up the pics as you continue to put it all together.... I really wanna see how it looks to have a white stand with the tank full..

I picked up the tank yesterday. Tonight I did some plumbing, mounted the reflectors and wired one side of the canopy. The plan was to run 2-400w MH but I am going to run 2-250w MH instead (because I was talked into it, lol) Its now 9:52pm and I am waiting for a friend to get off work so he can help me carry the tank in the house and set it on the stand.

looks great! when you get the LR - be sure to have buckets to take water out. The LR will displace some of that volume you have in there. Think of it as your first water change. ;D

i just saw this tank about a half an hour ago wit my own eyes, and wow, what a sweet setup!!! chad you did a great job so far!!! hopefully by now the sand storm has settled...lol

but thanks for the frags, they are sweet!!! good luck with that monster of a tank!!! talk to ya soon!!!

You'll be happy you ditched the 400watt halides. I made that mistake once. My tank was never the same since. Crash after crash after crash. More cash, more cash, and more cash. Two chillers later, I went with the 250's. I also have 250's on my 30" high tank and can grow any SPS's on the bottom.
Keep up the nice work.

GREAT JOB BRO!!! thats gonna look sweet when fully stocked!! i like all the caves, lots of places for critters to dwell!!! i see you still have the fabric on the closed loop intake, lol! glad to see you got it done! like i said, great job!!!!! if u ever need a hand gimme a shout, you got my num
