Kalk Reactor Users

To those of you who have your topoff go through a kalk reactor:
If the kalk reactor is in mix mode, and the topoff is triggered, doesn't it blow cloudy water into your tank?

I originally had my stir and topoff set to coincide, that added cloudy water everytime. Now I have a regular stir, but it still catches the topoff sometimes, and adds cloudy water. Has this been your experience or is there a way to avoid it?

We have our recir pump run for 10 minutes every 6 hours. We used to have to top-off pump timed to be about the same but an hour after the mix pump (to allow the suspension to settle). Recently, OK for about 6 months or so, we have the top-off pump kick on whenever the water level in the sump drops. Sometimes it coincides with a stir and sometimes not. The small amount of cloudy/high kalk water dosed to the system never seems to cause a problem.

That's just our experience, others may vary. . .

my reactor is tied into my ro replenish, never had a problem with cloudy water and the results are awsome, stirrer always on and ro always flowin
