Keeping my tank cool

So, I have found it tough to keep my tank cool on these very hot days. It has been hovering around 80 at any given time. My tank is located upstairs and the AC is always set on 74. My heater is unplugged, my led lights are about 10 inches above the water and are only on for eights hours a day. My refugium lights are also on for 8 hours a day in the middle of the night. The only pumps that I have running are my protein skimmer, mag 9 return pump and my Nero 5 wave maker. Any easy ways to help cool it down a few degrees? You can notice a difference in the coral these past couple hot weeks.
Thanks

I definently don’t want a chiller. They are expensive, large and can be noisy. Does a fan make that much of a difference? Will it actually cool it down a few degrees?

Yes a fan will do wonders bounce fan air over water. But it will evaporate a little quicker...

So im looking at fans to buy and am wondering if a twin fan is enough or should I get a quad fan? My tank is 65 gallons and I have a 29 gallon sump. Also would this work on my sump rather than my display tank?

If you replace that mag return pump with a dc pump you will also see less heat.

the mag pump generate a lot of heat.

My fan is blowing over the top of my sump more or less right over the refugium and return chamber It’s a 9 inch round fan that I secured to the top of cabinet underneath

Or you can do what I did I bought an air conditioner and put it in the window next to my tank and that became my chiller the wife was not happy but my Aquarium was and that’s what was important

The link came through and I was looking at the one earlier. For now I took the glass lid off and have the ceiling fan on. I’m hoping this may work otherwise I am going to order one In The next day or two.
Thanks everyone

yeah glass lids will also retain heat in the tank. So taking that off will also help

Ceiling fan won’t work well unless it’s right over tank

I was able to drop my tank temp 2 degrees today. I took the glass lid off and made this out of some egg crate that I had lying around. I’m hoping the temp will drop another point or two overnight when things cool down a bit more. I’m going to keep my ceiling fan on at all times which is about five or six feet away from it. It’s worth a shot...

Do you have a box fan or any other type of fan, u can put it close to your sump and it definitely will help especially if your room has air conditioning

The temp is now down to 77. I think my approach may work. But I do like the box fan idea Incase it spikes on me again

You can always get a inkbird temp controller. Idk if there's other brands but I know they have one with an outlet for cooling and one for heating. That way if it gets too hot, it'll automatically turn the fan on and heater off and vise versa
