Kenya Tree Question

Okay, this is weird, but it happened again. I went from using the normal lights+actinic in my biocube to just Actinic before shutting that down. The Kenya shut itself real tight again for about 30 minutes, now it's opening slowly under the moon light leds.

Anyone else have this happen?

Just caught this thread, thanks to panmanmatt, one of my first frag s was a Kenia.
My Experience, I now have a grove of 30 + trees.
They are harmless, no toxins, will not damage any other corals that they come into contact with.
If they die, no toxins are released, just be aware that the bio load in the water will be increased, just like anything else that that happens too.
If they close up, that is normal, they just do that, 3-4 days no big deal.
BUT- If they stay closed up " Canary in a coal mine" Check for other problems like water parameters!!!
The only thing that may help a tree that is not happy is to move it! Increased water flow, more or less light.
Feeding- kenias like dirty water, when you clean your inside glass, stir the detritus up they feed, I feed mine plankton.

I see my grove as like cheatoe, they are feeding on nutriments that I want removed from the tank, my results are a clean tank!
