I couldn't pass up on a deal for a stand/sump/tank from Xavier a few weeks ago.
The good thing is, I can set this up while my 50g is still running.

Over the past week in & half I've ordered a bunch of stuff. I shimmed & plumbed the tank. Ran regular water through it Monday to test for leaks. It's now currently half scaped with sand & being filled with RO water(taking forever!). My DI Resin filter is almost maxed out, lucky I have a new one coming today.

I can't wait to finally get the menacing pistol shrimp out for good!

Specs:
Marineland 75g Custom with 2 overflows
40G Breeder Sump
Custom Stand
(2) Radion's
(2) MP10's
BRS Dual GFO/Carbon Reactor (ordered)
Reef Octopus NWB200 (ordered)
MAG18 Return Pump
Neptune Apex w/ Breakout Box (2)ph probes & temp Probe
Fiji Pink sand (60lbs)
Rocks from reefrocks.net (50lbs)
(I think that's about it)

I'm not very creative with rockscapes. I still have a bunch of live rock to transfer over from my other tank. Door's aren't currently on.

You're INSANE!! You did need room though. Why not just skip all this nonsense and go straight for a 120? Maybe even 240 cube? ;)

You know where to go if you need a hand with anything.

haha. 75g is plenty for now!

Looks like things are coming along nicely. Good luck with the build

Thanks!

Yesterday I finished filling the tank & mixed the salt. I put some live rock, live sand, & a sponge that's been sitting in my sump into the tank. Poured a few bottles of Dr's tims..

Now I wait & test.

Well, the storm slowed some progress. I was out of power for 5 days when the storm hit. Luckily, my neighbor let me borrow some juice to run my tank. I let the 75g sit unplugged. Yesterday I decided to go to town & move everything from the 50 to 75. This is my progress so far.

Looks great kev nice work

Thanks!

Everything looks like it is coming along nicely!!!!

Thanks!

My module display on the apex stopped working, so I have to figure that out. And the breakout box for the ATO I can't seem to get to work again! Everything else seems so far so good. I really like the longer display. The 50g cubed was just too confined! I packed wayyy too much stuff in that. I feel good that my fish & everything have much more room to play!

Youll be saying the same about this tank in another couple months, year at the most... Mark my words! haha

HAHAHA. Well, hopefully the next big tank will be in our own house.

Very nice.

Thanks!!

I forgot to add. The devil of a pistol shrimp has been donated to AO! I'm debating if I want another one, LOL. I do like my sand where it is though.

Coming along nicely Kevin. There's nothing more exciting than a good upgrade coming together!

Thanks! It's much more satisfying the second time around. I have a little more understanding of what I'm doing now. I fixed the break out box. Now I just to call Neptune and trouble shoot the display module.

I recently purchased a Midas blenny. So far so good.. I need a ground dwelling fish now & I don't know what else I want.
Need to figure out a smaller ATO container to fit in my stand.. it's evaporating quite a bit of water. I did go from about 60gallons to 100ish gallons... just seems like a lot.. but absolutely no leaks anywhere
