Keyport collecting

Went to Keyport with my son and drag net; caught 2 nice pipe fish. My son caught some goby / blenny type fish in his killie trap. He caught 8 of them and I will try and post pics; they move to fast.

Nice Mad! I'm glad it was good for you. I hear down at sandy hook is great for collecting too. The second to last beach has an incredible area that is almost a football field out of just about waist/thigh high water that you can drag net in. There are INCREDIBLE stuffs in that surf. Basically take 36 like your going to sandy hook. Go to the second to last beach (the one right before Fort hancock) at low tide. Have fun!
