The coloring looks good on those recent pics, but they are a bit blurry Kevin. I'm guessing it's just do to a slight shaking of the phone when you take the pic. Not a biggy though and the gels do seem to help with the nasty blue LED issue.

Yea my photography is definitely a work in progress. One of these days I'll be able to take a decent one. Or at least I'm hoping.

Thanks john. They lost a little color when I first got them but since the have colored up they are really nice. They grow pretty well too.

Thanks mike. I still need to play around with them some more but I think they work great, I was very surprised by them.

Got tired of my seeing my skimmer sticking out like a sore thumb every time I look at my tank, so I threw together a "cover" quickly after work. Here's the before

And here's the cover

I may put some trim on it to sort of match the doors. After I decide to put trim on or not I just need to sand and paint it. The cover comes off for easy access to the collection cup and with the collection cup off the "cover" slides forward for when I need to do a cleaning of the pump and skimmer body.

Thanks guys. The skimmer has always been pretty quiet on its own so I haven't really noticed a difference sound wise. There is a top for it it's on in the second picture I took it off in the last picture to show access inside. I will be painting it black to match.

Moved my scoly over from the frag tank to the display. First picture is straight from the cell phone and the second is through a gel filter to take out some blue.

And a quick shot of the newer fish. Mystery wrasse I added 2 weeks back

I have always wanted one and couldn't pass up the deal I got on him. He is out and about the majority of the time. Really happy with him.
