Thanks sunny! I think tomorrow I'm going to try and set up the dosing pumps I have. I think my manual dosing is allowing things to swing a bit more than I would like. Just nervous about relying on a piece of equipment to dose and also the fact that I am extremely tech illiterate.

I do not run a controller. Like I said I'm not good with technology at all. The dosing pump I have is the jaebo doser.

When I used the dosers I just split up my dose in 12 hr increments. Calcium dosed from 9a-9p and alk the other 12 hrs. Usually the all in one dosers split up the dose throughout the entire day so I'm not really sure there.
Tech illiterate or not I would try to at least get your hands on a Apex Jr. With Apex fusion a newborn could program it. You will truly wonder how you got by so long without it.

Thanks John. I messed around with the doser a bit and it looks like I can choose how many times to dose a day so I think I'll start with what you said. I have a reef angel sitting around for a while, it's just too complicated for me. I may try to sell it and try to find something a bit more user friendly.
I'm definitely going to look into it. Time to start saving.
Didn't get as far as I would have liked on the equipment cabinet. The blade on the table saw is shot. Got the cabinet itself finished just need to make an insert where the wires will come through and power strips will be mounted.
Also need to find a better spot for the ATO container so the cabinet can butt right up to the tank stand. Excuse the mess I was painting my front door as well
