Hi folks,
This community has been so great on my venture back into this hobby 12 months ago and with this new build. I was doing mostly nanos with mixed success up until hurricane Sandy hit and put 24 inches of water in my Highlands house. The seawater hit my reef-keeper and wiped out my Cad-lights nano and I watched the tank just wither. I chucked everything into the street along with most of my possessions swearing to never return.
About a year ago I purchased a used Nuvo fusion 10 and got her up and loaded. I remembered how much I enjoyed the Nanos and quickly picked back up where I left off. With the purchase of a new home I began assembling a display upstairs with a basement sump room. I put myself on a deadline to have the tank cycled by reefapalooza so I could pick up some higher end corals at the show prices.
Along the way I have crossed passed with many in the NJreefers circle. I obtained my 72 inch sump from a NJ club reefer in Barnegat, my frag table from Eric215 in Durmont, and the Red Sea 425 display from a club member in northernmost part of Jersey.
Equipment:
Upstairs Display Red Sea Reefer 425XL
Lighting 2 LED AI hydra 26
Main Return (basement) Jabaeo DCT 1500

Jager 250W heaters
Custom Acrylic 72inch sump
50 Frag table
29 Gallon Macro Fuge (Chaeto, small amount of Calurpa)
2 BRS reactors (Carbon, GFO)
250 lbs live rock
2 skimmers Reef Octopus Diablo, Monster Skimz
