I am seriously thinking about possibly starting a DIY project and switching over to all LED lighting. I have been doing some reading but can not seem to get any answers so I ask here. Is led lighting enough to hold sps in a regular 75 g tank. I see a lot of DIY led lights on nano tanks but nothing on tall tanks. I figure the total cost would be about $750 versus $2400 for a manufactured fixture. Any options are welcome. Any info would be GREAT!!

Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.

There are also some manufacturers of LEDS that fit into the fluorescent fixtures except you you do not need the ballasts.
