Unfortunately, zoa's don't do too well in our system. Once this switches to LPS/SPS we'll definitely get involved.

I thought zoas were basically indistructable. why don't they do well in your system?

I have no idea but for some reason they just don't do well. Believe it or not, I can't keep Xenia, Kenya's, or Star Polyps either. In most systems they grow like weeds but in mine they waste away to nothing and disappear.

That's absolutely amazing, I've heard of people not being able to grow xenia and kenya but i've never heard about not being able to grow zoanthids. I guess in this hobby you learn something new every day.

i dont know about that, they say star pollips are a natural warning system of tank conditions, so far my tank peramiters are perfect and i cant get rid of my xenias, they are repopulating after removing what i thought was all of them, but yet i have a rock with zoos on it, they arent dying but thier not spreading either.
