I have a 72" light fixure with 3 250watt halids ( screw in bulbs) and 2 Super actinic VHO 110 watt on ice caps. My question here is when I plug my VHO directly in the outlet it will not work. I have not replced the VHO bulbs because I am not sure if that is the problem and I dont want to waist the money. I am not sure what type of ballest it have because I do not want to try to take the fixture apart to see if it has like a ballast 660 in there about the long reflectors. My Halides does have three seperate external ballest and they work just fine. Also my LFS does not have a unit that allow you to test any bulbs like thatfishplace. Any help would be greatly appreciated, Thanks in advance
