Lighting help 120w 16k maxspect razors

Hey guys I've had these lightsites for the past four years now. I can't seem to dial them in correctly. They were originally on a 75 then 90long now 93cube. I just recently switched the lenses from the stock 90 degree to the 120 degree lenses. I know I lost some parts value so I've been trying to adjust accordingly. I normally use the automatic function and set my 6 presets to have a dawn dusk effect. Does anyone else do this with there leds? Is the two channel white blue 8/10 a better option? Some advice please. The tank is a mixed reef mainly softies right now few lps sps

I forgot to mention I really like the 120 lense it blends the color much better and takes out a lot of the disco effect.

I've had endless different time cycles normally the ramp up starting at 8am peaking around 3 and off at 10,I've had periods where there would be 6 hrs. Of max intensity in the middle of the ramp up but I have never exceeded 65%white and 100%blue right now however my lights max at 70% at 3 then go back down in can get my actual number later

Well changing a lot is part of the problem. Corals can thrive in widely varying par but consistency is very important. What has worked for me with leds is a short ramp up of a hour or 2, the same intensity for 6-7 hours then fast ramp back down.

With that led and that size tank I would aim for 150 points between the two channels for example 100 b 50 w or 75 b 75 w for 6-7 straight hours.

Okay I'll definitely give that a try. I used to change setting every 6 months if I didn't see any good results. Hoping to find something that worked

Well results have just as much to do with water chemistry. What is your alk calcium mag and phosphate levels? Is your alk stable, that is very important.

Calcium is 480 phosphate is 0.03 I don't test mag and alk in process of buying all test kits my phone is an 8.2 of that help with alk. I bring my water to a lesser about once a month to have him do full check. And other than nitrates was 80 to 160 ppm to 40ppm everything has been in decent order from what I would assume

I currently use an api kit for ph nitrate nitrite ammonia and salifert kit for calcium and phosphates looking to go all salifert it's a nice kit

Not to sound rude but this is your issue not your light. A reef tank needs very staple parameters to be successful. When you get it tested all they test for is If it is in safe range not stable. Buy a Salifert alk kit and test often, stable alk is the most important thing for a reef tank.

Your not beins rude at all all. Advice is great fully welcomed. I know my tank has been in neglect for a long time I moved and transfered everything into the cube almost 3 month ago. Since then my husbandry has been much better but fixing all that was done is taking some time. I will definitely buy the alk kit hopefully this weekend. I am currently keeping zoas, red or brown mushrooms some yellow polyps and button polyps for soft corals. LPS are 2 hammers some blastos and a Lobo. Sps Monti cap and digitaland a few acros that I can't identify.
