llamas

:) Ancient tradition holds that the Llama was a creature born of the Great Unspoiled Reef. The Unspoiled Reef was a creation so perfect, so beautiful, that nothing could make it better.

The Llama evolved from the Unspoiled Reef so that it's beauty could be spread upon the land. It is believed that those who can keep true beauty alive in this world have at some time been touched by a Llama.

Therefore, all true reefers must be Llamas.

THE END! ;D

I guess you're sitting in front of your tanks sipping a Jack & Coke tonight...right Bill?!

Don't let Bill BS you.

Back around 1970, the Argentinian government attempted to increase tourism by creating a coral reef of their northern coast. Having no old battle ships and very few used tires, they tried lashing together llama and alpaca carcases and tossed them into the ocean and had great success.

Hence, anyone trying to start their own coral reef (or reef tank) is called a llama.

Llama Lore Continues! 8)

Llama spit is considered a cornerstone of successful reefing. It has many magical properties.

When combined with Vodka and dosed periodically you can keep an 8" bed of crushed coral in a tank indefinitely and no nitrates or phosphates will accumulate.

Added to mysis shrimp and fed to any species of tang, the tangs will cease to grow at 4 inches and will school peacfully with other tangs. They appear to be happiest when kept in any 4 foot long tank.

Mixed with milk and dosed yearly will maintain calcium at a constant 450 ppm at a ph of 8.3 with no other supplementation.

More to come........ ;D
