My buddy texted me this morning with this ...

PERTH AMBOY WATERFRONT, ALIVE & WELL! Found this juvenile butterflyfish in a tidal pool under the Brighton St fishing pier! Also found a 57.5cm female horseshoe crab, a 9cm summer flounder, 2 northern pipefish one only 4cm!


Dan Harning is a science teacher in my school but his real calling is marine biologist who spends as much time in the water as possible.

Thanks for tracking this down. I was interested in this after hearing the interview on the Reef Threads Podcast.

Are we ready for hybrid corals to replace the native species? I would prefer this over a dead reef.
