Looking for ATO recommendations

The used 70g oceanic tank I'm getting is being delivered on Sunday (WOOHOO!!!) It's an upgrade for my 50g and since it's RR it will also run a sump/refug (something I haven't had on the 50g).

I think the next piece of equipment I'm going to save up for is an ATO... looking for something easy to use and affordable, any recommendations?

We swear by them and recommend them to anyone who'll listen! We run 2 of these. One on our main system and another on our 65. It actually a really reasonable solution and works well.

Don't want to hi-jack the post but might as well issue questions here since it is on topic. Does it make sense to be safe and get the double switch controller to be safe? Why other than saving $11 would anyone buy the single switch? Also, the site doesn't give much information in regards to how these are setup and work. Can you add anything here?

I just received the double switch ATO from autotopoff.com. I would recommend the double switch, for only another $10 you get some piece of mind. As far as setting it up it is simple. With the double switch you get three zip ties, one sensor which is surrounded by small piece of PVC and the other sensor which is the backup. The sensor which is surrounded by the PVC is going to be the water sensor, the small tie goes around the PVC and one other tie around the white cap, you are going to tie the ties to the black mount. http://www.autotopoff.com/products/DS1/pages/DS05_JPG.htmThe

The second fail sensor is used a little higher up on the black mount in case the first sensor fails. So you can determine the height of that.

So at the end it should look like this...

I hooked it up Friday night, so far it works great. It took me about 10 minutes to hook everything up.
