Looking to start taking donations for Animal Shelters

I would like to try an start to collect donations for all the local animal shelters that were affected by the storm I know many are in need as some pets can not be with their owners. I'm trying to organize something to collect and pick up food, toys , beds etc... to be distributed to all these shelters in our communities. I have never done such a thing so I am very open to all that would like to participate and help coordinate. I do not have a lot of free this week and next due to work but after that I should be free. I do have Sundays off right now though. Please let me know what you think. Also now is a great time to think about adopting some of these displaced pets. Thanks, Jeff

Im on mobile so i cant see the sidebar where it usually states this, but where exactly are you located or looking for help in? Im down in south jersey and would donate some items but do not have time with my own cleanup and classes to trav

My wife and I discussed doing this and I will be going to Costco to purchase large bags of dog and cat food for donation to shelters. If you could post a list of local animal shelters I think that would be useful as I would be willing to just purchase the food and drop it off at my local shelter...

Monmouth SPCA sent around an email requesting aid. They need $ and in eatontown, fuel (they do not have power yet). They have a tab on their website to donate $.
